PROJECT PARTICIPATION RELEASE

By accepting these terms, I express my desire to participate in a project (with a working title of the USC-Shenzhen project, “Project”) related to a course organized by the USC Roski School of Fine Arts, the USC School of Architecture and/or the USC School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California (“USC”).

For good and valuable consideration,

I irrevocably grant to USC, its successors, assigns and licensees right to use any materials or works (whether or not copyright protected) that I may provide, author or create in connection with the Project by USC, its successors, assigns and licensees, with such use being in connection with the Project and advertising and promotion for the Project and USC.  The use include the right to reproduce and create derivative works, and to exhibit, advertise and exploit these rights in perpetuity in all media now or hereafter known at any time throughout the Universe.

I release any and all claims whatsoever in connection with the foregoing use.  I understand that use of any such materials or works is solely in the discretion of USC.

I understand that any additional releases, waivers or authorizations that may be required regarding such materials or works are the sole responsibility of USC.

I further understand that USC shall take all reasonable measures to include any appropriate credits for any of my contribution to any works as used by USC.
